Streetwear Color Rich Lipstick Creamy Brown:Review,Swatch

Hey beauties, today, I am back again with a lipstick review after many days. The one I will be reviewing today is Streetwear color rich lipstick in “Creamy Brown”. I have all along been a pink and red girl when it came to lipsticks. I always thought brown would do nothing for my face other than taking away the color from it. But recently, due to my love of dramatic eye make up, I realized that we need one beige or brown in our kitty for the times when we want our lips to be understated and let eyes do all the talking. So this is how this lippy caught my attention. Read on to see how it fared.

Product description:

Creamy in texture, Street Wear Color Rich Lip Color is highly moisturizing lipstick. It possesses long staying power and does not fade off or get smudged. Moreover it comes in nice packaging and is quite affordable.

Price:

Rs.140 for 3.5 gm

The shade is perfect nude beige which would suit fair to dark complexions alike.  Though the swatch appears to be a bit pinkish, it is a complete beige one. The camera was not capturing the exact color L but anyway, I am clean-bowled by the color. It is the perfect shade which I want for my “no make up look” days or my “dramatic eyes” day. The brown is unlike the “dead” kind of brown which makes your lips look lifeless. On the contrary, it brightens up the face.

Texture, pigmentation and staying power:

The texture is smooth and buttery. I have never used such a smooth gliding lippie before. It glides on like a dream . The pigmentation is quite good. Just as they claim, one swipe is enough to get the color. But yes, it is build-able too. It is very light on the lips and does not feel waxy. There is no weird smell too. The lipstick stays on for about 4 hours on me. After that it starts to fade. But it doesn’t settle in fine lines and is easily removable with coconut oil. ( that’s my make up remover always )

Pros of Streetwear Color Rich Lipstick:

• Affordable.
• Easily available.
• Smooth and buttery.
• No waxy feeling or weird smell.
• Stays on for pretty long.
• Can be removed easily and doesn’t stain lips.
• Pigmented.

Cons of Streetwear Color Rich Lipstick:

The only con I find with this is the packaging, I find it quite unattractive. Otherwise its sturdy.

Will I buy and do I recommend Streetwear Color Rich Lipstick?:

Obviously! Go get it ladies! It’s a must-have!

Streetwear Luscious Lips Lip Color-Pink Wood

Luscious Lips lipstick from Streetwear promises a smooth application and a rich finish. Indulge that pout with this lipstick, it’ll leave your lips looking like a million bucks!

So this is the new range I ventured into last month to everyone’s amusement, that I still need more. As a part of my job, I buy a lot of things to review and this range is one of them, I haven’t ever tried this one although I have tons of the Satin smooth and the Rich matte ones Today I am sharing a great everyday, office wear lipstick again, this is Pink Wood, though it should have been named “Peach Wood”.

I ordered this online where there was a Rs. 100 off on this, I got this along with Peach Glory which has been reviewed, Both are great nudes.

One thing I have noticed about Streetwear lipsticks is that these feel quite hard as in very sturdy when they are new. With time they get softer and then they leave a nice thick texture behind. This is not the case when they are new, they feel rather hard but this one is hard yet soft when you swipe it on.

It is actually named correctly as “Luscious Lips” because when you swipe this one, it looks really moisturizing and soft and saucy and luscious, exactly what many of us love!When you put this on, one coat gives enough saucy color and the lips look very moisturized and very natural too.

The shade is a soft brown-peach one and it has some mild golden shimmer to it, not very noticeable but enough to make it a non-matte and non-creamy lipstick.The lipstick feels very light and yet quite pigmented.

I love the silver metallic packaging and it does not click-lock but slides onto the tube making it my last choice to travel with. The lipstick is soft and sheer and hence wont stay as long as you want it to, if you have meals with this on.

Last word:

My only issue with these are that when they are new, they aren’t as soft as they should be,apart from that it is a great color and texture.

Streetwear FX Eyeshadow in Groovy Baby Review

I have always been on the lookout for that perfect eyeshadow to use as a highlighter for the inner contour of the eye – I always wonder how celebs do it, and it really opens up the eye and makes it look amazing. I was doing some online shopping a couple of months ago when I came across this. Usually, I don’t like buying single eyeshadows – I like quartets and palettes because I can easily construct a look, whereas with a single one, I get confused as to how I should use it, but this one looked too cute to pass up. I had to have it! It’s a tiny little pot that opens with a sliding cover, and has the Streetwear logo on the transparent lid.

Price:

Rs. 110/- for 1.1 gm.

Since it is a cream eyeshadow, it feels very soft and velvety to touch. What I loved the most was the pigmentation – it’s so much even in a single swipe! I tend to use this only to line the inner corner of my eyes to highlight them, so if you ladies have any other ideas on how to use this colour, do let me know in the comments!

In real life, its a bit more golden with silver undertones in terms of colour. I tried so hard to capture the actual colour in the pic but couldn’t :/

Here is my EOTD for Diwali – I used it in this. Please ignore how faded the rest of the eyeshadow looks I took it after I came back home!

I have tried it both with my fingers and with a flat eyeliner brush (I use the edges to pick up the colour). One drawback that I found was that with a brush, I tend not to be able to pick up colour, but I am not that much of an expert with eyeshadow yet, so maybe I am doing something wrong?

Other than this, I am super happy that I bought this.  I would recommend this for anyone if they want a nice bright highlighter shade in the cream variety. The packaging is also super cute and it’s very handy to slip into your purse or even a clutch if need be. The slide out packaging ensures that I can open it quickly and there’s no possibility of cracking the lid open. The only thing is that because of this, there’s no mirror attached and no sponge applicators. Honestly though, I never find those very useful, so that’s all the better. This could be a con for some though.

Since I don’t use this liberally, it would take quite a while for me to finish this! But yes, of course I would. Might try the other shades too.

Streetwear Mineral Lip Gloss-Mulberry Dip

Hope you are all enjoying the chilled weather out there. I am enjoying as well. So I am back with a lip gloss review as I told you earlier that I did some shopping one week back. Since I was little busy with my cousin’s marriage, I could review this before. Hope you enjoy reading it.

I don’t know the actual price. I got it at a discounted price of Rs. 160 for 6 ml.

Packaging:

The packaging is really cute. It is a transparent square shaped bottle with a stick applicator like any other lip gloss. The contents are clearly visible from outside the bottle

My take on Streetwear Mineral Lip Gloss-Mulberry Dip:

I like this plum-colored gloss. It is highly pigmented. It does not bleed which is one feature I have seen common in all Streetwear lippies. The texture is smooth buttery and soft. It gets applied evenly all over the lip. The smell is very mild. I am quite happy with this since some lip glosses smells like rotten fruit jam. The color is very appropriate for this stark winter. It looks really soothing on the lips. It can be used both as a day wear and a night wear too. The light shimmer makes it suitable also as a party wear. But the shimmer is very light which I am happy about because I prefer lip gloss only as a day wear and it qualifies in all manner. The lasting power is also highly impressive and it does not wash out with water. It is not that sticky and has keeps the lips moisturized for quite some time.

Now summing up the pros and cons Streetwear Mineral Lip Gloss-Mulberry Dip:

• Pigmentation is very satisfactory.

• Not much can be mentioned about this lip gloss as I liked it to all extent.

Final Verdict:

I am quite impressed with this lip gloss a lot and I am looking forward to try the other shades from this range too.

Streetwear Satin Smooth Lip Color – Eclairs Review

I am in a phase where one tries different shades, I have tried plums too. So, it is time to try brown lipsticks now.  Also, I love to top lipsticks with clear gloss. That is how I picked “Eclairs” from Street Wear Satin Smooth range. It satisfied both my needs.

Product Description:

Street Wear Satin Smooth Lip Color glides on lips effortlessly, stays long and makes you feel comfortable. It works well and keeps the lips soft and supple.  Helps smoothen, soften, protect and hydrate your lips and adds a luminous shine to your lips. You will get a satin smooth finish!

Price:

Rs. 235 for 4.2 gm.

My Take on Streetwear Satin Smooth Lip Color – Eclairs:

The packaging is sturdy and travel friendly, but not attractive.  The bullet is a silver twist-up, housed in a dark purple case. There is a mention of shade name and number at the bottom end of the lipstick which makes it a little difficult to find the lipstick.  The shade is a chocolate caramel color lipstick. It is a very versatile color that will suit all skin tones. It can be used both as a day time as well as night time wear. It goes great with smokey eyes. It gives a matte to cream finish. It is creamy and smooth, but not buttery smooth. It has very good pigmentation and covers lip pigmentation completely in 2 swipes. It has a faint smell but you won’t be able to feel it on the lips.

It is pretty hydrating. I didn’t feel any dryness. I would recommend lip balm underneath if you have dry and chapped lips. It stays on my lips for 3 to 4 hours with snacks after which it fades evenly. It leaves a mild stain on my lips which makes my lips look very naturally colored. It didn’t bleed when topped with a lip gloss.

• Beautiful caramel shade.

• Versatile color.
• A variety of shades to choose from.

• Doesn’t stain on fine lines.

• You would need to remove the lipstick stain using a remover.
• Difficult to find the lipstick on the go
• Ingredient list missing.

Final Word on Streetwear Satin Smooth Lip Color – Eclairs:

It is a versatile caramel color which gives a matte to creamy finish. It has a decent staying power, but hydrates the lips very well. Also, it has good pigmentation. If you are not into brown lipsticks, start with this one.

Streetwear Stay On Long Wear and Waterproof Eyeliner – Emerald Review

Today, I am going to review an eyeliner pencil. This was an impulse purchase for me and I was not sure how it would work out for me. I bought it because I was impressed with the color. Please read on to find out how it fared.

Rs.350 for 0.35 gm.

Shade:

01 Emerald.

My Experience with Streetwear Stay On Long Wear and Waterproof Eyeliner – Emerald:

The packaging is very simple and nice.  The eyeliner comes in a silver-colored retractable pencil. The cap of the pencil co-ordinates with color of the eyeliner. The cap closes securely. The color is a pretty and bright emerald color with golden sheen and gives a satin finish, but I find it slightly hard to swipe across the eyelids. It is not the smoothest eyeliners I have used.

It takes a couple of swipes to get a proper line on the lids, but the pigmentation is very good. Once I apply the eyeliner, it stays put till the end of the day. So, I can say the staying power is also very nice. It stays on my lids till I remove it with a makeup remover.

It easily stays on for like 8 hours. Though I have oily lids, I have not even seen it fade away.  Also, as per the claim, it is water proof. I don’t use it on my water line, but for review purpose, I applied on water line and it did not irritate or sting my eyes.  So, I can say the liner is water line safe. Since it is a retractable pencil, no need to worry about sharpening it every time.  So, I am pretty much satisfied with my purchase.

• Very pretty color.
• Waterproof.
• Staying power is superb.
• Waterline safe.
• Easy to take it off with remover.
• No need to worry about sharpening.

• Needs multiple swipes as the texture is slightly on the harder side.
• Pencil liner lovers may not like it for hygienic purpose.
• No ingredient list.

Streetwear Color Rich Lipstick – Pink Champagne Review

Here I come with another lipstick review, they are taking a toll on me you know This one is my second from Streetwear Color Rich range, earlier I had used Rusty Orange and was highly impressed with the shade. This shade is called Pink Champagne. Of late, I had seen a couple of bad reviews from this range, so let’s see how this one turns eventually.

Product Description:

Exclusive Street Wear formula with mega-moisturizers seals in color and softness. Have lovely rich shades, which glide like a dream. Very moisturizing, even if you have dry chapped lips, it’s not going to look flaky without a lip balm under it.  It does not settle into fine lines. It gives just the right amount of shine to the lips, so you don’t need to put on a gloss. The texture and finish is very soft and creamy.

Price:

160 INR for 3.5 gm.

My Experience with Streetwear Color Rich Lipstick – Pink Champagne:

Since I had used a shade from this range, I was sure of this range’s quality and features.  It didn’t take me much thought to buy another one for the amazing price range it offers. One funny incident before I start to describe this, and I am sure it could have happened to any of us. Once I was stepping out and wanted to apply Rusty Orange, I had forgotten that I had recently bought this one too. I applied this shade and went out, and later realized it’s not Rusty Orange, so here goes one negative point, the monochrome packaging of all shades, makes life difficult.

So, the shade is called Pink Champagne, I don’t know the color of champagne, but I surely know what pink is This one is a very nude shade, most of us might find it absolutely similar to the lip skin color. This one is an extreme shade; either beginners will like it or extremists. The former lot is skeptical of trying out brighter and heavy shades while the latter is bored of trying every other shade under the sun and might like this one. For me, I am not an extremist. So, this is not my favorite.

I had bought it from a beauty store, choosing myself. After buying, when I applied it, my boyfriend couldn’t guess it was a lipstick; it was so nude and natural. So, it might be a plus or a minus for some. For me, it’s a minus as I buy lipsticks for the color to show, especially when I don’t plan for nude one and it happens to be nude :/

I had swatched this one on hand, so couldn’t make out the color difference. Later when I applied it at home, I found the color to be dull. The texture is matte and smooth. One may feel the need to apply some gloss over it as the color shows up dull :/

Pros of Streetwear Color Rich Lipstick – Pink Champagne:

• Nicely pigmented.
• Moisturizing.
• Good staying power, but with this color, you might not know whether it has stayed or faded away
• Inexpensive.
• Fragrance free.
• Smooth application.
• Suitable for all skin tones.

Cons of Streetwear Color Rich Lipstick – Pink Champagne:

• Bad packaging, I don’t feel like carrying this in makeup pouch, as the cap is quite loose.
• No ingredient list mentioned.
• I don’t like the color.

Do I Recommend Streetwear Color Rich Lipstick – Pink Champagne?

May be no, but some people might like the color if they like nude shades. Actually, the color isn’t bad, but I hadn’t planned to buy a nude shade, hence disappointed.

Street Wear Stay On Lip Liner in Ruby Review

Hello ladies,

I have a very few lip liners in comparison to lip glosses and lipsticks.  Because of this reason, I wanted to get a few lip liners. I found Streetwear Stay On Lip Liner at a local store a few days back. Since these are quite economical and this color seemed very versatile, so I decided to get this lip liner.

Price and Quantity:

0.28g for Rs. 250

Shade:

Ruby.

When I applied a swatch on my wrist and didn’t use a remover to remove it, this swatch remained for 3 days and you
know what I even washed my clothes and it was still there on my wrist.

My Experience with Street Wear Stay On Lip Liner in Ruby:

I have always wanted a liner which does not require sharpening. The retractable Street Wear Stay On Long Wear lip liner was the one, which fulfilled my requirement. The shade gets on very well with just one swipe. It glides very well on the lip.  It is a very pretty color and will go well with all maroon, magenta, and all reddish shade lipsticks. It looks very beautiful as a lip color and will suit all skin tones. I have also applied this liner as a lip color and spread it with my lipstick brush and applied lip balm over it.

This lip pencil is greatly pigmented. It is very smooth or soft when applied. The best part is its staying power, it stays on and on. It stayed on my lips for 5-6 hours. Makeup remover is required to remove it completely.  As a lip liner, it definitely increases the staying power of lipsticks and prevents bleeding or smudging of lipsticks. I like retractable pencils. I prefer them to be in swivel-up form because this feature makes them hassle free and quick to apply.

• Retractable pencil structured package, I am too lazy to use sharpen-able lip liners. I prefer them to be in swivel-up form because this feature makes them hassle free and quick to apply. Touch-ups while on the go also become so much simpler if the pencils are retractable.
• Pretty affordable, given the quality of these liners, I believe it would be an understatement to say that they are affordable.
• The brand offers an amazing variety of shades.
• Glides on without tugging and has never broken till date. The texture is very smooth, creamy and does not dry out my lips.
• Fragrance free.

Cons of Street Wear Stay On Lip Liner in Ruby:

• This can only be applied with long stay on lip color or else only lip liner will be visible.
• I cannot find any other con in this product.

Today my review is on Streetwear Lip Gloss Rose Shimmer.This is a pink shade of  gloss suitable for fair-medium skin tones. I like to wear glosses more lipsticks so I am always obsessed with lipglosses. My love for lip glosses made me buy this by looking at the shade but later when I swatched it, it looked pretty average.

My take on Streetwear Lip Gloss Rose Shimmer:

The lip gloss comes in a sturdy travel friendly plastic transparent cylindrical bottle,with a silver colored cap attached a doe foot applicator to it. The transparency of the bottle makes it easy to identify the shade.The smell of the gloss is so sweet and almost smells like a candy. The gloss is neither too opaque nor too transparent it falls in between,and the pigmentation it offers wont cover the pigmented lips,so lip liner or lipstick is a must to cover pigmented lips.

The texture is a bit sticky in consistency and mildly dries out the lips. The goss glides on lips smoothly without much effort. The gloss has shimmer in it, so it is suitable for nights. The gloss bleeds so easily and the shimmer settles in corners of mouth. Staying power is pretty average 2-2.5 hours without eating and 1-1.5 hours with out eating.

Now summing up-

Pros of Streetwear Lip Gloss Rose Shimmer:

• Nice shade-suitable for fair to medium skin tones
• Nice smell-smells of a sweet candy
• Easily available
• Affordable

Today I am going to review a lip gloss from Streetwear. This is a brownish shade which suits medium to dark skin tones.

What the product claims-

Street Wear Color Rich Lip Gloss is ranks high on color and glamour. It leaves your lips looking gorgeous and shine that stays on for long. Apart from giving glam color to your lips, it also moisturizes them so that they don’t get dry even hours after application.

I always prefer lip glosses over lipsticks,and I was in search of some nice nude shade for daily college wear which made me buy this which later turned out to be a dud

My take on Streetwear Color Rich Lip Gloss – Choco Bloom:

The product comes in a transparent plastic bottle with a black cap with a doe foot applicator. The packing is not at all travel friendly and the gloss broke  in my hand bag when I was carrying this to college,the product spilled all over my bag [such a mess]. Smell is pretty good, itsmells kind of sweet and pleasant.

The shade is a lights mauve one with a good opaqueness which covers the pigmentation on lips.Consistency is very sticky and soon dries out the lips. When reapplied over and over it forms a white cast on lips.The gloss does not glide on smoothly on lips ,some effort is required to spread it on the lips. Staying power is very poor , It stays 1-1.5 hours without eating and with eating disappears within half and hour. The good thing about the gloss is that it does not contain any shimmer in it, so can be wore during day time also.

Street Wear Double Scoop Lip Gloss and Glitter in Coffeelicious Review

Like every other teenager on this planet, my foray into cosmetics started with a simple lip gloss. In all my years of searching, (yes, I am sounding like an old lady! :p) I have tried a huge number of glosses; ones that were very affordable and a select few that burned a hole in my dad’s pocket. *smirk*  But nevertheless, I never really got my HG lip gloss, that was a mix of a decently priced but amazing product, maybe my latest haul will help in that avenue. *fingers crossed*  The product I am now going to review is one of the earliest glosses I purchased and for some reason stuck around for quite a while.

3.9 grams (glitter) + 4 grams (gloss).

Packaging:

It’s like an adorable UFO! I am absolutely in love with the look it projects, but sadly, it has many inherent flaws that are too huge to ignore. First, the packaging is not travel safe. The screwing mechanism is flawed and the tub can be pulled apart without any unscrewing.  Second, it’s a little unnecessarily bulky and can’t be stored easily. Third, there is no ingredient list present anywhere.

Fourth, the tub packaging makes application and reapplication a tad unhygienic. If you have long nails, like I do, then you will be confronted with the icky task of removing product from under your nails. *shudder*

My Take on Street Wear Double Scoop Lip Gloss and Glitter in Coffeelicious:

Seeing as this was one of my first products, the teen me, was in love with it and actually repurchased it once, but the more mature me, can see too many flaws for a repurchase.

First off, the gloss is just “glossy” and isn’t all that pigmented. On my pigmented lips, it just seems like a clear gloss. It is also insanely sticky! It just feels icky and uncomfortable on my lips. It attracts objects like an electromagnet! Hair, dust, you name it, and it attracts it  -.-

On the bright side, using the glitter, definitely tones down the stickiness considerably, but the product itself is considerably clumpy. It’s consistency, can be likened to, finely milled glitter being mixed with some old clumpy Vaseline.  The gloss alone, stays for an hour without eating anything and the glitter+gloss lasts for 2 hours, at best.  The glitter can be mixed with your body lotion for some very subtle shimmer highlights, which is a huge plus at the price point offered.

The smell is a very strong Vanilla-citrus fragrance, that just makes my sinuses close up in response. It’s too strong and lingers for quite a while after application.  It isn’t a bad product, on the whole. For young non-pigmented lips, it’s a decently priced product. But if you aren’t looking forward to the next Justin Beiber album, this product isn’t for you! :p

• Wears off very fast.

Street Wear Shine Divine Lip colour in Glimmer Pink

Hey there!

This is another one of my forays into the deep dark world of lipcolors, all for my ungrateful mom. *sobs plaintively*

I have bought a lot of products from many brands, but Street Wear always appealed to me. Seeing as it is the sub-brand of Revlon quality is almost guaranteed, so to speak. The product I am going to review is one of their few higher priced offerings. On to the review!

2.25 ml

Packaging:

It’s a pretty pink, twist up package with a very sturdy lid. The colour of the packaging, corresponds to the shade offered and this makes it exceedingly easy to locate in your vanity.
The inherent problem of all liquid lipsticks, persists with this one too, hygiene. It’s highly unsanitary when used by one or many. The sponge tip is prone to bacteria and if this is shared, then only God can save you! :p

The transparent lid, though travel safe, gets a little messy with the excess lip colour left over on the sponge. It would look better, if the lid matched the opaque packaging too.

My take on Street Wear Shine Divine Lip Colour in Glimmer Pink:

Personally, I prefer non-shimmery bold colours so this frosted shimmery finish just seems like overkill to me. But, it makes my already plump lips look huge, which is a good thing for those with thin lips.

On dusky skin, the colour is too light and can make you look washed out. But on lighter skin, it looks surprisingly natural. My mom has thin lips and is much lighter, this looks like an everyday lip colour for her and is one of her go-to lip colours.

The product has a very glossy finish, and lasts more than 5-6 hours but after 2-3 hours it begins to feel exceedingly dry. Thereafter it is best to either touch up or at least add some lip gloss. It is also very sticky and attracts flyaway hair like a magnet, which irritates me no end. It is also very unforgiving on the lips, like matte lip colors you need to prep your lips before using this product. Unless, you want to look like you were Bear Grylls’ cameraman in the Sahara desert survival episode. :p

The sponge tip functions very well, no problems with the twist up mechanism too. But the only glaring flaw here, is that one has no way of knowing how much product is still left. Which makes buying a replacement before you run out, a huge problem.

Pros of Street Wear Shine Divine Lip colour Glimmer Pink:

1.The screw mechanism works, unlike many liquid lipsticks.
2. Decent staying power of more that 4-5 hours
3. Package is indicative of the shade, so it’s easy to locate in the vanity.
4. Pretty colour for fair skinned people.
5. Makes your lips look plumper.

Cons of Street Wear Shine Divine Lip colour in Glimmer Pink:

1.Applicator can make sharing the product unsanitary.
2. The product is pretty sticky.
3. Product feels exceedingly dry on your lips after 2-3 hours.
4. May wash out dusky complexions
5. The frosted finish along with shimmer, is overkill (may be a pro for some).
6. Accentuates flaws in the lips, by settling into fine lines.
7. Expensive
8. No way of knowing how much product is left.

Would I repurchase Street Wear Shine Divine Lip colour Glimmer Pink?

Nope! I think this product doesn’t cater to my needs.

Would I recommend Street Wear Shine Divine Lip colour Glimmer Pink to friends?

Nah! There are better fish in the sea!

Seeing this, they will all congregate in one place and discuss if their hair gets stuck in the gloss or not. It’s funny but at the same time, it’s an indication that they are all taking their first steps towards a love for makeup. I too have contributed to many of these discussions, all to reach my HG gloss. While that is still just a dream, the product I am now going to review is one of the products that I loved as a teen.

My Take on Street Wear Double Scoop Lip Gloss and Glitter in Limealicious:

This is one lip gloss that I have had for quite a while and saw in my neighbourhood store just the other day. I have nothing against this product but I feel that it caters to those who are just teens as re-application is never an issue for them, especially if the packaging is cute.

For me, the product is a huge dud. The gloss lacks pigmentation and is so sticky that I feel like my lips have a magnet on them. Everything from stray hair to fur balls get attracted to my lips. The gloss is so sticky that it feels tacky and uncomfortable of my lips. Once you apply the glitter over the gloss, the stickiness reduces diagrammatically and feels alright. The glitter can be used as a body glitter and is a fairly decent product. It’s texture is reminiscent to Vaseline mixed with some silver glitter. Not a particularly bad body glitter during the Indian wedding season.

Honestly, I don’t know whether to be thankful that the gloss isn’t pigmented, because if it was, I am not sure if anyone would want this unflattering milky grey colour on their lips. The glitter lasts for about 2-3 hours, the gloss for 1 hour and the glitter+gloss for about 1.5-2 hours depending on how many times you eat.  A lip swatch is a wasteful exercise because all you can see is a layer of Vaseline over my pigmented lips, for some reason, the glitter isn’t all prominent on my lips.

The true marker to see if you would be satisfied with this product is the following. If you aren’t looking forward to the release of Justin Bieber’s new album, I suggest you stay far-far away from this product

I had this with me since a very long time, and I used it occasionally.  So, here’s the review.

The lip color comes in a black sturdy packaging with a silver inner part, can be revolved easily.  The bullet size is of normal length. Written on the cap is the brand name in silver mark, and the lower end has the shade name.

Product Claims:

Lipstick will not only give colour to your lips but also make them soft and healthy. The moisturising content in the lipstick nourishes your lips and keep them hydrated all day long. Once applied, this lipstick will endure for long hours without feathering or smudging. A perfect wear for an evening function, this Cocoa Glaze 10 from Street wear will surely elevate your overall look with its vibrant and glossy colour.

My Take on Streetwear Color Rich Lip Color – Cocoa Glaze:

The lip color is very bold if you consider it after red.  Being in my early twenties, I usually do not prefer such shades for regular use, but why not take the risk.  The shade is a mix of maroon and brown with a little shimmer.  It can be considered in the matte category. These Streetwear Lip Colors have been famous mainly because of two reasons, i.e., the affordable price and a wide range of shades.

The texture of the lip color is smooth enough to glide on the lips easily.  A single stroke is not enough to get the real colour, so you need to reapply it two to three times to see the real richness of the colour. The claims of keeping the lips moist is true as you won’t feel your lips getting dry.  Talking of the staying power, its really good.  It doesn’t change much except for slight fading of colour when the day ends.  So, for women who are looking for a colour which is actually 9 to 5, this one is perfect, except if you have heavy meals in between.  If you sip water, the lip color gets transferred minimally.  So, you can buy this shade without a second thought.  What else can you expect out of a “Rs. 160 lipstick?”

• Inexpensive.
• Easily available at the counters.
• A rich shade.
• Staying power is good.
• Would suit fair skin tones.
• Best for night parties when you want to opt for a shade other than red or maroon.

• Packaging is simple and boring.
• Multiple swipes are required to get the right colour.
• No shade guide colour on the top or bottom of the bullet.

Yes for sure, you wouldn’t want just the pinks and reds to dominate your lipstick stash.  There has to be a wide variety of shades including the rich brown and chocolaty shades. So girls, go grab this one for your evening parties.

Streetwear Lip Gloss in Nothing Review

Hi Everyone,

I am sharing a review on a lip gloss from Streetwear. I haven’t tried any makeup product from them apart from nail paints, and that too when I was in school. I saw a pretty plum lip gloss in their counter and happily tried it. I really don’t remember the shade name, the SA by mistake replaced that plum one with this shade; in a hurry, I left without checking it. I fell ill later and couldn’t exchange it :( Anyway, that’s the sad story of how I got this lip gloss, read on to know more.

My Experience with Streetwear Lip Gloss in Nothing:

Packaging:  The Streetwear lip gloss retails in a transparent bottle with silver fonts. The packaging of the lip gloss is simple and quite sturdy. It comes with a doe-foot applicator which is comfortable for application and works fine. The lip gloss details like the product name, date of manufacture are printed below for reference. Even if you own more than one of these, the packaging is convenient to locate them easily. Overall, I really don’t have any complaint about the packaging.

Color:

The shade “Nothing” is a medium lilac color with hint of brown undertones to it, the lip gloss color looks very similar to the onion peel color. It looks quite dark on the tube but comes out a little diffused on the lips. I have never worn such colors in my life and the moment I saw it, I got a small heart attack. The color makes me look old, dull and tired. It comes loaded with shimmer and gives a very frosty finish to the lips.

Texture and Pigmentation:

The texture of the lip gloss is very thick and sticky formulation. My hair keeps sticking to it and it will transfer a lot to everything from cups to glasses. It feels really heavy on lips and not comfortable at all. The pigmentation of the lip gloss is pretty good and with one swipe of the gloss, you can get full color intensity and it covers lip pigmentation too. The lip gloss has a very strong fruity bubblegum smell which stays for about 15 to 20 minutes of application.

Staying Power:

The staying power isn’t good either. My lips became completely bare after a very light snack. You cannot really expect it to survive even light snacks. It can also be easily wiped off with one swipe of the tissue. It stays around for 1 and half to 2 hours on me. When it starts fading, the shimmer is left behind on the lips.

Pros of Streetwear Lip Gloss in Nothing:

• Affordable.
• A lot of shades available to choose from..
• Good amount of quantity.
• Availability.
• Good pigmentation.

Cons of Streetwear Lip Gloss in Nothing:

• Strong fruity, bubble gum fragrance.
• Low staying power.
• Sticky and thick texture, really not comfortable on lips.
• It transfers a lot.
• Ingredients list is not mentioned.
• Shimmer in the lip gloss is left behind on the lips after the color fades away.

Will I Repurchase/Do I Recommend Streetwear Lip Gloss in Nothing?

No, I don’t even feel like going back for the pretty plum color I saw earlier, I really did not like the formula and I do not recommend it to you all. There are so many good options in the market at this price tag itself. My favourite budget-friendly lip gloss is the Maybelline color sensational ones, you can easily skip these definitely.

Recently I saw some glosses from Streetwear on sale, in Central, I picked up a few, but I really did think to myself, these look good enough for a lip gloss, and most gloss lovers would love it for this cost, hence this post came to my mind, I am sharing some amazing glosses at an even better price from Streetwear, if you can locate them, do try them.

Streetwear Color Rich Lip Gloss – Frosted Lilac

Price: 235

Street Wear Colour Rich Lip Gloss is ranks high on colour and glamour. It leaves your lips looking gorgeous and shine that stays on for long. Apart from giving glam colour to your lips, it also moisturizes them so that they don’t get dry even hours after application

Streetwear Color Rich Lip Gloss: Rose Petal

The shade rose petal is a peachy pink colour with very light silver shimmers in it. It comes in a transparent tube with a black cap which is made up of a very poor quality plastic. Once it fell down from my hand and the cap broke from the sides.

Streetwear Lip Gloss Rose Shimmer

The lip gloss comes in a sturdy travel friendly plastic transparent cylindrical bottle,with a silver colored cap attached a doe foot applicator to it. The transparency of the bottle makes it easy to identify the shade.The smell of the gloss is so sweet and almost smells like a candy. The gloss is neither too opaque nor too transparent it falls in between,and the pigmentation it offers wont cover the pigmented lips,so lip liner or lipstick is a must to cover pigmented lips.

StreetWear Lip Gloss – Smooch

The color is kind of a light peachy nude and I can wear it with anything and anywhere, but I am cautious of wearing it outside

Streetwear Sheer Temptation Lip Gloss-Hot Choci

True to its name, it’s a brown chocolate colour. Not the deepest of brown though. It will suit all skin tones. The gloss is much pigmented and shall colour even the pigmented lips. I am impressed with the pigmentation of these glosses. The last one which I reviewed also scored high marks on the colour pay off

Streetwear Sheer Temptation Outrageous Orange Lip Gloss

It is a nice peachy pink shade. Coral lovers should definitely get one of these. The best part is the colour payoff, glosses generally are not very pigmented, but with this gloss, I can actually see the coral pink shade being transferred to my lips. It has subtle shimmers in it which give a nice glossy shine to the lips.

Street Wear Lip Gloss 48 Lavender

It is a beautiful nud-ish coral shade. The color shall look amazing with smokey eyes and it is such which can be carried easily by all age groups alike. Also, it shall be flattering for most skin tones. The color has subtle shimmer in it which provides sheen to the lips, never looks OTT.

Streetwear Color Rich Lip Gloss – Choco Bloom

The shade is a lights mauve one with a good opaqueness which covers the pigmentation on lips.Consistency is very sticky and soon dries out the lips. When reapplied over and over it forms a white cast on lips.The gloss does not glide on smoothly on lips ,some effort is required to spread it on the lips. Staying power is very poor , It stays 1-1.5 hours without eating and with eating disappears within half and hour. The good thing about the gloss is that it does not contain any shimmer in it, so can be wore during day time also

Street Wear Shine Divine Lip Colour – Glimmer Pink

On dusky skin, the colour is too light and can make you look washed out. But on lighter skin, it looks surprisingly natural. My mom has thin lips and is much lighter, this looks like an everyday lip colour for her and is one of her go-to lip colours.

Streetwear Color Rich Lip Gloss – Pink Desire

The texture is similar to other lip-glosses except I find this a little less sticky. My hair doesn’t stick to it like fevicol base unlike the Maybelline and the Lakme ones. But it’s still not any good, as it hardy stays till I go out and my hair blows cause of the wind. The maximum staying power is about an hour after which there is no trace or tint left behind.

Streetwear Mineral Lip Gloss-Mulberry Dip

It is highly pigmented. It does not bleed which is one feature I have seen common in all Streetwear lippies. The texture is smooth buttery and soft. It gets applied evenly all over the lip. The smell is very mild. I am quite happy with this since some lip glosses smells like rotten fruit jam. The color is very appropriate for this stark winter. It looks really soothing on the lips. It can be used both as a day wear and a night wear too.

Streetwear Lip Gloss – Sunset

The gloss is named ‘sunset’ is absolutely a thumps up color, as going with name it suits perfect for the evening hangouts, the color is a mid shade of brick color and a slightly brownish in tone, as the young girls do not generally go with the brown color on their lips, this color is a win win amongst them as this shades is truly wondrous in nature. The best part of this color is its non –sticky nature which does not give any irritation and unlike some gloss it is not chapped.

Streetwear Colour Rich Lip Gloss – Retro Funk

The shade is really nice. It’s a cross between red and pink and comes translucent on the lips. A good shade, especially to top up your lipstick. The doe-foot applicator is very handy, but I have got one complaint; the smell. It smells a little like plastic. It’s not overpowering and it goes away in about ten seconds, but it’s rather unpleasant.

Streetwear Color Rich Lip Gloss – Bashful

The gloss is sticky- not too much but, yes, it is sticky. It bleeds too. Being a plain gloss I cannot wear it on my lips alone. You don’t know- it is with very heavy heart that I have put a pic of plain gloss on my lips, just for the sake of the review.

Street Wear Shine Divine Lip Color – Brown Spark and Peachy Crème

A great range of lip color that promises ‘high shine’ in seconds for the woman on the go It provides instant moisture to the lips with super longevity. Offers shimmer and shine.

They are still around and on sale, these can look glam on top of lipsticks and these creme like shine divine lip colors is what I am looking for currently

Streetwear Color Rich Ultra Moist Lipstick – Ruby Riddle

Today I have a brilliant color I picked from this new range of Streetwear lipsticks.This color is a mix of pink coral and carrot red to a very toned down form.I love it so much I need to get a back up probably for the price, it is a find and a steal.For anyone who wants to try some fun lipsticks at a great price of 180 Rupees, you have to rush to get some for yourself.

The lipstick looks chic in this click lock pack,like I said. The issue here is the bullet is jutting out, it will not retract back fully.You have to take extra care not to nick the lipstick when you replace the cap. It can be quite a pain as one day, you are sure to nick the bullet so they have to do something about this.

The lipstick is on the sheer side, it cannot be called creamy-buttery either.It is a nice buildable color and for me it works nicely with a brush only.I have built it to opaque with the Colorbar fabulips brush.So for girls who like a nice light wash of color for office, you would like it.Thick lipstick-opaque lipsticks lovers might need extra swipes.

The color is creamy in finish, and it is super awesome.The color is not too pink or coral, neither too orange or rusty, it is just right for me.You can wear at anytime of the day and for office and college too it is right.The color does transfer easily but it stains a bit which makes it last for 4 plus hours.So overall at this cost I have no complaints.

I think pigmented lips can try it too. I did not find it drying so yes, dry lips can buy it too.The color would be great for most skin tones IMO.

Streetwear Color Rich Ultramoist Lipstick-Pink Pirouette

I have a weakness when it comes to cute packaging. Buying some product just because of their cute packaging is not a strange thing for many of us. I thought streetwear brand was totally washed off from the market- until I spotted these cute products in a store. Streetwear has revamped itself and are offering products in a lower price range. As soon as I saw an orange shade, I immediately picked it up. So today I am going to review- Streetwear Color Rich Ultramoist lipstick in the shade Pink Piroutte ( I don’t understand why is it called pink piroutte, when it is an orange lipstick).

PRICE: Rs.180 for 4.2g

INGREDIENTS: Not mentioned.

My take on Streetwear Color Rich Ultramoist Lipstick-Pink Pirouette:

Starting with the packaging-it is really cute and attractive. As neha mentioned it in her previous posts, the bullet juts pulls out, so you should be really careful while replacing the cap, otherwise you will surely break the lipstick bullet.

Streetwear Color Rich Ultramoist lipstick in the shade Pink Piroutte is an orange lipstick with reddish undertone. It is more on the sheerer side with average pigmentation, so you need to swipe on the lipstick 3-4 times to get full fledged colour on your lips.

The lipstick is not creamy, so you experience slight tugging and pulling on application. I find this shade drying on the lips. It accentuates dry flaky lips-so wearing a lip balm underneath is a must.

The colour lasts for 4 hours but doesn’t survive a meal and leaves an unflattering stain behind-as it makes your lips look more dry with the stain stuck in the fine lines of your lips.

Pros of Streetwear Color Rich Ultramoist Lipstick-Pink Pirouette:

-Cute attractive packaging
-Very cheap
-Nice orangish shade with slight reddish undertones

Cons of Streetwear Color Rich Ultramoist Lipstick-Pink Pirouette:

-Have to be careful while replacing the cap, as bullet can easily break
-Tugs and pulls on application
-Dries out the lips
-Stains the lips
-Doesn’t survive a meal

Would I Repurchase? No not at all. I can save up the money and buy a better lipstick.

Overall this lipstick is very cute and attractive from the packaging point of view. It is a nice orangey shade with reddish undertones, but dries out the lips. If you want to try out loads of colours without burning a hole in your wallet, then do try out these lipsticks.

Streetwear Color Rich Ultra Moist Lipstick – Mystic Mauve Review

Hiiiiii beauties!!

The other day, I was checking out the reviews of these new super cute launches from Streetwear on IMBB, and nearly lusting after them, even after the average rating, because, well, come on, how are you going to resist such girly packaging!! The illustration on it reminds me of female characters from Archie comics. I just had to get a few. So, when I saw these online, I hunted for the shades close to my liking and placed an order. A mini haul actually So, read on to find out more about the shade that I am going to review today, along with pictures of what I purchased along with it.

Price/Packaging:

The packaging is to die for. I am head over heels in love. It is so cute, chic and street smart. The girl toons are way better than Elle 18.  It’s a plastic packaging, with a normal twist up after you pull off the cap with the illustration on it. Quite sturdy, fits inside your purse, although the plastic is prone to scratches and illustration prone to fading over time, as it happens with budget lipsticks, although I am keeping my fingers crossed that it doesn’t happen as I am way too in love with the packaging. Sigh! Hope my prayers are answered.

It comes at a price of Rs. 180/- for 3 gm, very affordable and in the budget of college girls. However, it is still more than that of Elle 18 lipsticks, which come at a tag of Rs. 100, and have impressed their way into the lives of many young girls, if you cut down your expectations and do not mind reapplying. So, a comparison is obvious when you are competing for the same market.

My Experience with Streetwear Color Rich Ultra Moist Lipstick – Mystic Mauve:

I purchased this lipstick, in the shade 7, Mystic Mauve. As I already have loads of pinks and nudes from different brands, I decided to give this nearly purple shade a try. I won’t lie, when I received this shade, and after I was done admiring the packaging I was very skeptical whether the shade would suit me or not, given that I have never tried such a shade.

The shade Mystic Mauve is purple, with little tones of pink, to make it look too harsh. It is actually pinker than it has turned out in the pictures. I tried taking it from every angle and light possible, but somehow, it could not capture the pink tones, just the purple. Anyway, the actual shade, is a few tones, just a few, pinker in reality, as compared to the LOTD and swatch.

This shade is strictly for fair to medium tones, and will wash out dusky beauties. It is a really cool-toned shade, which will look pretty on application, and different too, if you are too bored of the regular peaches and pinks and nudes. I am glad that I gave this shade a try.

The texture of the lipstick is somewhere between matte to creamy. It glided on my lips easily, no tugging and pulling at all. Plus, I could layer it and swipe it multiple times, to get the desired color and coverage. Those with dry lips will have to get rid of dry patches through proper exfoliation, lest you want it to stick to them. For me, it was just a swipe of clear balm an hour before, to give smoothness to my lips, and when I applied this lipstick, I had absolutely no problem.

Lasting power is very average. It will stay for around 3 to 4 hours with beverages in between, fading a bit. However, take some heavy snack, or a full meal, and it will be gone. Darker shades may leave a tint behind. However, this shade does not leave any tint or stain behind. It is just wiped clean, and you shall have to reapply. But, at this price, you cannot complain.

Pros of Streetwear Color Rich Ultra Moist Lipstick – Mystic Mauve:

• Creamy on application, no tugging or pulling.
• Just the right moisture, no bleeding.
• Settles to a creamy to matte finish.
• Unique and different shade.
• Coverage is buildable.
• Awesome and chic packaging.
• Very affordable.
• Available easily.

Cons of Streetwear Color Rich Ultra Moist Lipstick – Mystic Mauve:

• Dry lips will need more moisture, just this is not enough.
• Sheer to medium coverage even on multiple swipes.
• Will not cover very pigmented lips, although this may differ from shade to shade.
• Average staying power.
• Does not survive meals and snacks.
• Does not leave any tint behind, just wiped clean.
• Reapplication is required.

IMBB Rating and Recommendation:

I rate Streetwear Color Rich Ultra Moist Lipstick – 7 Mystic Mauve, 3/5.

A good looking option to Elle 18 lipsticks, very affordable, with an array of shades to choose from. If only you do not have much expectations and do not mind reapplying, this is a good budget option.

Would I Repurchase Streetwear Color Rich Ultra Moist Lipstick – Mystic Mauve?

I think not. I already have purchased three shades, and although I like all three, I think I will suggest Elle 18 over these, as those are more moisturizing, with that lip balm core. Plus the shades in Elle 18 are more beautiful, and the darker ones do leave a pretty tint behind sometimes. Plus, that is more like a nourishing lip balm, so you do not mind it reapplying often, Cannot say the same for these Streetwear lipsticks.  And yes, how can I forget, Elle 18 comes at 110 and these at 180, so I guess I would suggest former over these.

Lastly, take a look at my mini haul of this range.  Coming up next are the reviews of “Pink Persuasion” and the Color Rich Kajal. Let’s just say, that I do not have colossal expectations from these, but these are fun to have at the price.

Streetwear Color Rich Kajal Review

I love kajals, especially dark ones which give eyes a beautiful definition, even when you have not done anything dramatic. Dark, defined kohled eyes are my favorite idea of sexy and smoldering look, when you are not in a mood to do much. There are numerous options in the Indian market as far as Kajals and Kohls are concerned, varying from normal easy removal ones, which are dirt cheap, to the herbal ones, and finally the most beloved ones like eyeconic and colossal, which are waterproof and smudgeproof, as well as in budget.  In my last review, of Streetwear Color Rich Ultra Moist Lipstick – 7 Mystic Mauve, I shared with you all the mini haul of Streetwear that I had done, and which included the kajal as well, which is also a part of their recent launch. I purchased it just out of impulse, because of the packaging which looked super cute. Plus, I have not had any crayon type kajal, so the shape fascinated me a bit. I wanted to purchase Lakme Satin Kajal for a casual look, but then went with this one. Read on to find out how it fared for me.

Price/Packaging/Description:

Streetwear Color Rich Kajal comes in a normal cardboard packaging, with a free sharpener. I am not very impressed with the packaging, although I purchased it purely on first impression basis and low price tag. Let me tell you why. The packaging looks like a cheap marker – cute but a bit cheap. The sharpener also looks like a 2-rupee pencil sharpener we used in school, and nowhere close to Lakme or Colorbar, who make an effort to make even their sharpeners look worth their brands. The cute Archie and Vernonica type illustration on it too is a cheap sticker, which will wear out or come off.  The packaging looks cute when it is new, but it’s just okay.

It comes at a price of Rs. 99/- for 2.5 gm, which is very affordable.

My Experience with Streetwear Color Rich Kajal:

Streetwear Color Rich Kajal, is a bullet-shaped kajal, although the thickness is more equivalent to a thick marker, than the fat bullet lipstick crayons, that we get. It is a sharpenable crayon and looks quite cute. The grip is good for applying. It never slipped or gave me any discomfort or trouble holding it and applying subsequently.

The smell of the kajal is like camphor, but not unbearable. It is just a faint scent that you get while you are using it, and it’s quite soothing actually.  The texture of the kajal is super creamy. One more thing that I liked about it was that in spite of it being creamy, and the fact that I have swiped it multiple times, and used it quite often, the tip does not get blunt easily, neither does it break, which is a major problem with creamy kajals. True, you have to sharpen it, when the tip will be blunt eventually, but there won’t be much problem in getting a fine tip because of these features.

The black is not supreme, but the effect that it gives on multiple swipes, is amazing. It really gives you that kohled and smoldering sexy looks just in few swipes. Just a mascara after that, and you are done. The black and the bullet shape of the kajal does an amazing job on eyes.

It is not smudge proof or waterproof, neither does it claim anywhere to be so in the product description. However, once it is set on your eyes, it does not budge unless you rub them. So, these are good when you are going for an hour or two, or for a coffee, for that duration. Obviously, it is not waterproof, but I noticed something that it is water-resistant to some extent, because when I sprayed water on it, it smudged a bit, but came off only when I rubbed it vigorously.  It can be removed easily with cleansing milk or baby oil, without much efforts or rubbing, as it is not a water proof product.

Summing up:

Pros of Streetwear Color Rich Kajal:

• Cute and young packaging.
• Nice kajal for beginners.
• Very affordable.
• Easily available online and offline.
• Travel friendly as the cap is secure.
• Mild camphor smell is soothing.
• Creamy, glides on your eyes.
• The black is intense, and gives a beautiful hue on eyes.
• Perfect option for short duration outings.
• Doesn’t smudge on eyes unless rubbed.
• Water resistant to some extent, although not for long.
• Easily removable.

Cons of Streetwear Color Rich Kajal:

• Not waterproof.
• Not smudge proof, will come off on rubbing and give panda eyes.
• Has to be sharpened.
• The packaging, although cute, looks a bit cheap, with a sticker on the cap and a marker pen type over-all appearance.

IMBB Rating and Recommendation:

I rate the Streetwear Color Rich Kajal 3.8/5. I admit that there are better options available in the market, but if you want a quick chic bold and sexy look for a one hour outing, you can have this cute crayon in your kitty. It will not irritate your eyes and will not budge unless you have a habit of rubbing your eyes. For office, this is not a good option, and we can stick with our beloved eyeconics and colossals, for we intend to touch our eyes fatigued after being in front of computer screens.

Would I Repurchase Streetwear Color Rich Kajal?

I may, it’s a fun product to have.
