Once when I went out for shopping to get a lipstick in a nude shade which suits me, I passed through the Revlon counter and searched for a good nude shade which suits my warm skin tone perfectly.  Unfortunately I didn’t like the nudes as they are more of pink undertones and I was like “oh God why don’t I have skin with pink undertones ” then the SA asked me whether she can show something from Street wear and I thought of trying it out . Then came this nice Brown. I swatched it on my hand and was like ‘cool’, but was a little hesitant. The SA understood that and applied it on my lips. Without any hesitation I just bought this. That is the story behind getting this beauty home

My take on Streetwear Sheer Temptation Lip Color – Let’s Mauve

This is a sheer brown color lipstick which suits dusky skin tone. When the SA applied it on my lips it was nice and pigmented but when I came home and swiped it on my lips I’m a bit disappointed as it is not so pigmented and I can barely see the color in my lips. Due to the disappointment I threw it in my shelf for a few weeks after which I started organizing my cupboard and found this and swiped it on my lips. This time due to disappointment I swiped it several times on my lips and then came the same color which the SA showed me on the day of purchase (Yippee).

Coming to the actual part..
This one became my favourite lipstick which is very light on lips. You heard me despite of layering it many times on your lips it doesn’t feel heavy at all.And other major advantage for this is that it is quite moisturizing and one doesn’t need a balm before applying this (very dry and chapped lips are exceptional they really need a lip balm under any lip product even if it is a moisturizing lipstick).

The best part about this is that it gives nice glossy finish to the lips. It just doesn’t stay long but just stays for only 3hrs that’s a real disappointment. Another disadvantage is its smell. It just smells like petroleum which stays for about 30 mins.

Street Wear Color Rich Ultra Moist Lip Color – Very Vampire Review

Hope you are all doing well. After a super busy weekend, I am eagerly waiting for a new one to come. So many things are pending, sale season is on and I am looking for different things to buy.  Today, I am going to share with you my experience with one of the most hot-selling lipsticks from Street Wear.

Product Details:

The shade name is “Very Vampire.” Now, you must thinking what a name? Reminds me of “The Vampire Diaries.” The bullet is extremely beautiful with a peppy packaging, designed to fit and add a girly touch to one’s bag.

My Experience with Street Wear Color Rich Ultra Moist Lip Color – Very Vampire:

Beginning with the shade, it’s a beautiful blend of hot red with a bit of coral touch. True to its name, you can get vampire hot red pouts. The moment you apply it, you will notice a different glow on your face because of the shade. Fair skin beauties can carry this shade with ease.

Next, let me talk about the texture.  This lipstick has a super soft texture in spite of its matte finish, easily glides on the lips.  Though one swipe is enough to see the color, but if you want to see the real shade, swipe it once more on the lips.

Staying power is amazing. It would stay easily for 3-4 hours. Now what else to expect from a lip color that’s worth rupees 180.

One basic problem with this lipstick is that it transfers a lot.  When you sip water or tea in a cup or glass, you can see lip marks on it. I am okay with this as every other lipstick does that.

The shade intensity decreases through the day.  We need to reapply it, probably after lunch during regular office hours.  Since it has a matte finish, we should take care of not applying it on flaky lips. Make sure you scrub your lips well and then apply it.  Lastly, I will say few word about its fragrance. The moment you open it and begin to apply, you would notice the sweet fragrance.  It’s a very pleasing fragrance, which I am pretty sure, none of you would mind.

Pros of Street Wear Color Rich Ultra Moist Lip Color – Very Vampire:

• Easily available at any counter.
• Priced reasonably.
• Shade and the shade name are catchy.
• Staying power is good.
• Fragrance is pleasant.
• The cap is transparent from above, so we can easily identify the shade without opening the cap.
• Keeps the lips soft.
• Matte effect is fantastic, if you are matte lovers and you are looking for a pretty red shade, this one is surely for you.
• Teenage girls and newbies at makeup, this one is the best shade to begin within the range of reds.

Cons of Street Wear Color Rich Ultra Moist Lip Color – Very Vampire:

• Women with dusky complexion may not like the shade.
• Have to reapply after a while as the shade fades away after some time.
• Transfers a lot, I guess half of the lip color goes on to the cups and glasses we use during the office hours.

Would I Recommend Street Wear Color Rich Ultra Moist Lip Color – Very Vampire?

Yes of course. Do try it once and get the lovely vampire look, at least once in a while.

I won’t mind buying such a lovely shade again.

I would rate this lipstick 4.5/5. The shade is fantastic, perfect for party nights, and pocket friendly. Only because it transfers a lot and the shade intensity decreases with time, I deducted 0.5. Overall, I am very happy with this range.

Streetwear Stay on Lip Color Brownie Fab

You might have seen my shopping here This is another shade from them and this is a light brown and it can be a great office wear shade. Otherwise too these are actually longer lasting since they are slightly sticky and they set slightly after application.

These are extremely sheer lipsticks. I was quite disappointed when I tried them on first, as they come out creamy on dry skin on the hands but on smoother lips this looks very sheer, lighter than on the hand and the tube. The lipstick feels light on the lips too, so everyone who does not like the feel of cakey lipsticks can surely check this one out.

The color is a true brown but on me it comes out light brown. It is a dark classic brown and rightly named too. The color has no shimmer and is not creamy either.It feels hard but once is starts to glide, it feels like a light sheer lipstick. I need three swipes to get some color on. I am disappointed with the non-creamy texture and the lipstick could be smoother but it does last long thankfully.

Once applied it feels slightly sticky and it sets so it does not smudge easily. It still feels quite moist no doubt, and very sheer again. the color does not do anything to brighten your skin but it is a plain classic brown.this can be nice for 25 plus age groups for office. Pigmented lips will have to build it up.

It stayed on me for 5 plus hours, of course as you eat, it fades from the center of the lips. Otherwise it did not feel dry at any point,it is a sheer supple looking brown, it is not dry cakey matte. You can try it if you like sheer light brown lipsticks that remain moist and still last long.

My Experience with Streetwear Color Rich Mega Shine Lip Gloss in Sparkling Wine:

The packaging of this lip gloss is cute and girly, it’s travel friendly.  The applicator is doe foot and picks just the right amount of gloss needed for a single swipe. It’s lightweight and just perfect! Some may find the stickiness a con, but I do not mind.  The shade is a soft pink with a tiny hint of mauve. This shade looks so pretty in the swatch! On the lips, it doesn’t show much as you all can see.  For reference, I do not have pigmented lips. So, this shade looks so natural on my lips with one swipe.  Only the little glossy effect that it has gives away the fact that I have worn something! Hehe. Never mind!

The shade is buildable.  With two swipes, you can see some colour on the lips. This one doesn’t feel dry after wiping off! The gloss has sparkles, but it doesn’t show on your lips.  It is subtle and gives the illusion of fuller lips! I have thin lips, I am absolutely loving this shade! It stays around for 2-3 hours. Yes, it does lighten up after a meal. The gloss doesn’t feel heavy at all.  It’s just perfect for work and college. It can be worn over a lipstick or can be worn on its own.  Either ways, it will look super pretty! I’m so happy about how these shades have turned out! It’s total value for money.

5 Streetwear Color Rich Nail Polishes

We girls like all colorful things, we need to have every shade in our wardrobe and nails paints collection as well as  shoes and makeup.Today likewise, I am going to share colorful nail paints from the brand Streetwear, they have come up with all new shades in color rich range. This brand, along with Maybelline Color show, has come up with the best pocket-friendly nail paints available in the market.

Product description:

The nail paints come in small cute little bottles with a long cap. The sketches can be seen on the black cap giving it a beautiful girly appearance. The shades have been given different names which makes it even more tempting.
Texture:

These are not as thick as Maybelline Colorshow, they are not runny either, they are medium thick.

Applicator brush:

The brush is small in size though it doesn’t pose any problem in the application of the nail paint. Rather I find it makes the application easier and comfortable.  It fans out easily and the nail paint consistency helps in easy application on the nails. One dip might not be enough to cover the entire nail, so two dips are necessary for a proper first coat.

How many coats would give you the full color? The color pigmentation cannot be completely justified in the first coat but after the second coat, the shade is truly justified. Two coats are necessary to get the full color.

Range of shades:

Streetwear is offering a wide range of shades at a great price of Rs. 60 .They are perfect for college.

 Staying power:

I am a person who rarely helps mommy in the kitchen especially for the utensils. So there is no chance that a household chore would affect the staying power of my nail paints. On my nails, these stay for an average of 4-5 days.

Drying time:

It isn’t quickly drying kind of a nail paint. You will have to wait for a minute or two for the first coat to dry and for the second coat you will have to wait for two to three minutes more for sure.

So girlies, let’s begin the colourful journey:

Rocker chic:

This is my favourite amongst all the five shades. The name itself is rocking and the shade is super awesome. You can wear it for any time, any day, any occasion.

In your Dream:

It is a very typical yet beautiful pink shade and a very feminine one too. Pink is a shade which cannot be missed out in our collection. This is a perfect shade and is a must-have.

Snap it:

this is a very spring-like bright shade or can be worn on a dull wintry day to brighten your mood.

Black Magic:

I have always liked black nail paints. If black can be one the sexiest colors in terms of a dress, why can’t it be the same for nail paints. Do you all agree with me? This is a must-have for nail arts too.

Silver Sensation:

I am not much of a fan of shimmery shades in either nail paints or lip colours. But this shade has completely dazzled me with its beauty and the grace it adds to the hands.

Street Wear Color Rich Ultra Moist Rhythmic Bronze Lipstick Review

I am here again with the review of the 4th shade of the Ultra Moist range. I just love this shade after “Pink Champagne,” which was a nice pink nude-ish color. I am going out of my comfort zone just to review them. Read further to find how this shade fared on me.

Product Details:

Give your lips a smacking look courtesy this lipstick from Street wear. This rich matte lip colour gives the lips a soft and supple appearance, while keeping them nourished. It glides on smoothly and gives the lips a soft and supple appearance.

Price:

INR 180.

Packaging:

The lipstick comes in a classic black bullet body with a transparent cap, which has a toon girl sticker in it. The bullet is jutting out of the body, which makes it prone to damage. The shade name is mentioned at the bottom of the bullet.  Overall, the packaging looks good and the quality is just okay for the price.

My Take on Street Wear Color Rich Ultra Moist Rhythmic Bronze Lipstick:

Shade: Rhythmic Bronze as the name says is a pure light bronze color with very less concentrated, finely milled silver shimmer in it, but the color doesn’t have metallic sheen to it. The color has some orangey undertones to it. The color is perfect for every Indian skin tone and can be a perfect MLBB shade for dusky skin tones. The shade is perfect to wear to office and college.

Texture, Pigmentation and Finish:

Though the bullet feels hard and intact, but the lipstick has a very smooth but not overly creamy texture.  It glides effortlessly on lips without tugging. The formula is moisturizing but not extremely hydrating on lips, but it feels hydrating enough that you won’t feel the need to apply lip balm over it. The lipstick will neither bleed nor does the color settles in the fine lines of lips. It won’t overly emphasize dry and flaky lips. This shade is decently pigmented and one swipe would easily cover flaws of lips, you can layer the color in 2 swipes, but more than two swipes can make the lipstick look a bit cakey, although layering the color will make the lipstick lasts longer on lips and provides much hydration than it does.  The lipstick gives a nice creamy matte finish on lips, the color doesn’t have any metallic sheen to it, nor does the fine shimmers are noticeable on lips.

Staying Power:  

The lipstick lasted on me for 3 hours with light snacking and drinking. That’s not bad for a creamy lipstick to survive, I was glad to see that the color survives light meals, though heavy meals can take off the color from lips. The lipstick being a creamy one does transfer a bit, but not too much.

Pros of Street Wear Color Rich Ultra Moist Rhythmic Bronze Lipstick:

• A nice light bronze color, this kind of color is really unique.
• Will suit every skin tone and is very wearable for everyday.
• Texture of the lipstick is smooth and glides effortlessly on lips without dragging.
• Pigmentation for this is very good, gives decent and opaque coverage in a single swipe and goes completely opaque in two swipes.
• The color lasted on my lips with light snacking for 3 hours.
• The color doesn’t bleed; neither does it exaggerate flaky lips.
• Price is very pocket friendly.

Cons of Street Wear Color Rich Ultra Moist Rhythmic Bronze Lipstick:

• More than two swipes of the lipstick can make it a little cakey, though it is not much noticeable.
• Though the packaging looks attractive, but it’s kind of fragile.
• The jutting head of the bullet makes it prone to damage.
• The formula is not extremely hydrating, not perfect to wear in winters for those who have dry lips.

Would I Recommend Street Wear Color Rich Ultra Moist Rhythmic Bronze Lipstick?

Yes, if you don’t like deep browns, you can try your hands in this shade. It’s definitely not gonna wash out any skin tone, but if you have chronically dry lips, use a chap stick before or over it.

Would I Repurchase Street Wear Color Rich Ultra Moist Rhythmic Bronze Lipstick?

You all know I like pink and orange shades more, though I also like this shade as it’s very unique. It’s hard to find such a nice metallic color lipstick, but I wear such shades rarely in my life, so this one is gonna last me for very long.

10 Best Metallic Lipsticks

Hello lovelies,

I was at a beauty supply store when I spotted this Streetwear Color Rich Perfection Foundation and its packaging really caught my eye. I don’t use any foundation on day to day basis. Actually, I don’t find the need to apply concealers or foundations on my skin, yet. I prefer BB creams and tinted moisturisers, but only on special occasions. So, when I told my mom I wanted to try it, she knew it was just for the packaging (mothers!). The shade ‘Neutral’ suited my skin tone best and hence, I picked it up.

INR 170 for 30 ml.

My Experience with Streetwear Color Rich Perfection Foundation:

The Streetwear Color Rich Perfection Foundation is available in two shades: Neutral and Beige. Now, both the shades are for dark skin tones which is the best part about this foundation as not many foundations are available for darker skintones, at least in India.

There is no product description on the packaging. The glass bottle has Streetwear’s winking girl printed on it, as usual. All the details are mentioned on the plastic cover, but that needs to be ripped off and discarded in order to open the bottle. The name of the product is mentioned on the bottle, and has a white sticker plastered on it that has barcode, product name and shade name.

At the store, it blended pretty well and the tone matched my skintone perfectly. But, when I applied it and clicked photographs with the flash on, it left a whitish finish and I absolutely hate this about it. This is also the reason why I personally don’t apply any foundation.

I need to obviously apply a powder over it because I have an oily-combination skin and this is an oil based foundation. I know, I should have known this before I purchased it, but the staff at the store I went to, was too lame to help me out.

It stays on for about 3-4 hours, at the most. So, I plan on using this only when I am attending a wedding or I might just not use it at all. I am not sure about it, yet. And, it has a medium to buildable coverage, which depends on your personal liking.

For INR 170, this is a very affordable and nice foundation for girls who have just started experimenting with foundations or makeup. The lady at the store did ask me to try some high end foundations for a better shade and coverage, but I said I will come later. But, I won’t. I would much rather juts head towards MAC.

Highlighters usually are used to provide a youthful, dewy complexion and to give the face a subtle glow. I am not a big fan of makeup on a regular basis and so I don’t have a highlighter in my makeup repertoire. But once during a wedding, I saw a lady who had sparkly eyes and it wasn’t the usual eye shadow effect that I had normally seen on people. My Experience with Streetwear Instant Highlighter in Gold Light:

This highlighter is actually a glittery product used to provide speckles of glittery goodness to your festive look. It is definitely not the sparkles you get in packets for stationary purposes if that’s what you are worried about It is very fine and powdery and gives just the right kind of shimmer that you need when you are rocking a designer sari or elaborate lehenga. This particular product is almost a coppery gold colour. They also have a silver one.

It comes in a plastic cuboidal body with a roller ball inside – that’s very convenient imagining how easily I could scatter the powdery product everywhere while trying to apply it! The roller ball ensures that only the right amount of product falls out every time.

It has got no liquid medium and so it doesn’t impart a glossy sheen, and so is perfect for oily-skinned girls like me. This is basically just sparkly fine powder. In spite of that, it is quite easy to spread onto your skin. You could either dab some of the powder on the back of your palm and use your fingers to apply this onto your skin or you could also use a makeup brush to brush it on. Having tried both methods, I like the latter for its better and uniform spread-ability. Using fingers can lead to uneven deposit of the product on the skin. By no means should you apply the roller ball directly on to the face. It will leave you looking like you washed your face with glitter.

Though I initially bought this to use below my eyebrows, I sometimes also use it at the ends of my cheekbones for a nice shimmer.  This lasts for almost as long as I want it, sometimes to the extent that I need to rub it off really well to remove the last traces. Of course that kind of staying power is what we want when we buy makeup for celebrations!

I got these cute nail paints from Street Wear Color Rich Collection and she is totally loving the range. In fact, I also loved this range as it is very affordable and I can stack them up without feeling the guilt of spending too much.

My Experience with Streetwear Color Rich Nail Enamel Bedside Blush, Be Mine, Lady Blue Eyes, Drama Diva, Traffic Stopper:

Packaging & Consistency:
I call these nail paints cute because they have a cute girl cartoon stickers on their cap. There are a lot of shades available in this range, I guess there must be different shades to suit all of our moods. Overall, the consistency of these nail polishes are as good as other brands. The brush of these nail paints is of average quality; could have been made superior for better application.

Drying and Staying Power:
These nail enamels dry up quickly after application and therefore, save lot of time. Few shades require just one coat for the opaque finish while few require more coats. They last for 4-5 days with decent finish and thereafter, loose the lustre. Anyway, I like to let my nails breath after 4-5 days, so that’s good enough for me.

Bedside Blush

My least favourite among all is bedside blush. I have grown up seeing my mom wearing only this shade of maroon. I am not much fond of this color and the texture of this one is little flaky. Enamel might have dried up and turned flaky.

Be Mine

This is supposed to be a romantic, pink color. During day time, it kind of looks slightly neon pink. A very different shade of pink I have tried so far.

Lady Blue Eyes

This one is not exactly blue, but greenish blue, slightly like turquoise tint. It’s a very beautiful and unique shade and will most surely suit all skin tones.

Drama Diva

This one is beautiful, violet shade and gives a lot of drama to the nails. I like the name given to this. I have applied two coats here for that perfect opaque finish. In fact, this nail color looks best in matte effect. You can just steam your nails for a few seconds for instant matte finish.

Traffic Stopper

This is my most favourite among all the five. Traffic stopper is a gorgeous tomato red color and gives instant vigour to the nails. Just one coat is enough for a dazzling finish.

Like every girl, I too am guilty of hoarding lip balms, but what can I do when brands launch cute lip balms? You gotta buy it right? Today’s review will be on one such newly-launched lip balm from Street Wear. Let’s get to the review now!

Product Description:

My Experience with Street Wear Coral Kiss  Color Rich Smoothies Lip Balm:

Packaging: This lip balm comes in a cardboard packaging with the details printed at the back. The actual lip balm resembles lipsticks from the same brand. It comes in a black flimsy plastic packaging. If you look closer, you would notice that the packaging is color coded because the picture of the girl’s background is the same as the shade of the lip balm.

Color: “Coral Kiss” is an orange tinted balm, but the color hardly shows up on the lips. It is a very light tinted lip balm. The lip balm gives just a slight wash of color on the lips, but it would do nothing for pigmented lips. You could layer on this lip balm to add more color to your lips.

Texture: The texture of the lip balm is very smooth and creamy. It isn’t a thick lip balm and gives a nice sheen to the lips, but layering on repeatedly would make it bleed. The lip balm imparts a cooling sensation on the lips. This tingling sensation lasts for 5 minutes and I love it.

This lip balm provides moisture to dry lips but does nothing to hydrate your lips. This lip balm smells lightly of peppermint. In the hot summers, it is the perfect scent. It’s a refreshing scent, I love it.

Staying Power: It stays on me for 3 hours and you need to re-apply after 3 hours or so. It wouldn’t survive a meal. Your lips won’t immediately feel dry and parched. It does moisturize lips a bit, but after 1-2 hours, you would need a lip balm.

Summing up the pros and cons:

I have reviewed a lot of shades from Streetwear’s Stay On lip color range, you can read them all here. Today, I have a neutral, slightly frosted shade which many would find difficult to wear since it could be a very dull shade for warm skin tones.

My Experience with Street Wear Cocoa Diva Stay On Lip Color:

I find the lipstick to be a very dull shade. The lipstick does not have shimmer but it has this irritating pearl/frost kind of finish. When I was buying it, I thought it will be a “Cocoa N*de,” but it turned out to be very dull for my skin tone. The color may be a light MLBB shade for very fair skin tones.

The packaging is very similar to Revlon’s old Ultimate Suede lipstick. The bullet jutting out and extending out is so annoying, whenever you close the cap, you are bound to nick the lipstick bullet. Well, it would also mean that they are easier to locate as well.

The texture is creamy and still it is not cakey. You will be surprised to know that the lips dries and sets to a transfer-resistant texture. So yes, it is a “stay on” texture and will last you pretty long, longer than your average lipstick. I could use this lipstick like a priming base for other darker lipsticks and also mix and match to make dark shades lighter.

Overall, this shade is not worth a buy but the other “stay on” shades are nice with their transfer-resistant factor.

Pros of Street Wear Cocoa Diva Stay On Lip Color:

• Neutral shade for very fair skin tones.
• Sets and does not smudge.
• Lasts longer definitely.
• Lots of shades to choose from this range.

• Pearly and frosty finish, it’s annoying.
• Bullet is extending over the case, me not likey!

So letting my reviewer streak get the better of me, I purchased this to tell you more about the product. Read on to know about Streetwear Color Rich Liquid Eyeliner Coal.

My Experience with Streetwear Coal Color Rich Liquid Eyeliner:

Packaging:  The eyeliner comes in a cute glass bottle, which is similar to their nail paints and has a black cap with girl graphics on it. The shade name and number is given at the top of the cap. It has a very thin applicator brush which help in precise application.

True to its name, Coal is a jet charcoal-black color. The color is bold and beautiful and gives a dramatic look to my eyes. The texture is slightly runny, in fact, it’s runnier than any other liquid liner I have used.

The shade is highly pigmented and goes opaque in just a single stroke. So, there is no need to go over an area twice unless you want to thicken the line. The brush is really thin, so you can draw precise lines as close as you want near your waterline. It sets to a matte finish and doesn’t have shimmers or sheen.

The staying power is low. It stays for 3-3.5 hours on my oily eyelids and I could improve the staying power my applying an eye makeup primer. The formula is neither water resistant nor smudgeproof, neither does it claim to be. So, you can remove it with a generous splash of water, but beware of rubbing your eyes. It doesn’t irritate my sensitive eyes.

It’s a super economic option for college girls, but if you want a long-staying, smudge-proof formula, then steer clear. If I am going somewhere for a very short time and don’t want to come home and spend time removing it, I definitely choose this. Hence I might repurchase the Egyptian Blue version as well.

5 Streetwear Color Rich Nail Polishes

We girls like all colorful things, we need to have every shade in our wardrobe and nails paints collection as well as  shoes and makeup.Today likewise, I am going to share colorful nail paints from the brand Streetwear, they have come up with all new shades in color rich range. This brand, along with Maybelline Color show, has come up with the best pocket-friendly nail paints available in the market.

Product description:

The nail paints come in small cute little bottles with a long cap. The sketches can be seen on the black cap giving it a beautiful girly appearance. The shades have been given different names which makes it even more tempting.
Texture:

These are not as thick as Maybelline Colorshow, they are not runny either, they are medium thick.

Applicator brush:

The brush is small in size though it doesn’t pose any problem in the application of the nail paint. Rather I find it makes the application easier and comfortable.  It fans out easily and the nail paint consistency helps in easy application on the nails. One dip might not be enough to cover the entire nail, so two dips are necessary for a proper first coat.

How many coats would give you the full color? The color pigmentation cannot be completely justified in the first coat but after the second coat, the shade is truly justified. Two coats are necessary to get the full color.

Range of shades:

Streetwear is offering a wide range of shades at a great price of Rs. 60 .They are perfect for college.

 Staying power:

I am a person who rarely helps mommy in the kitchen especially for the utensils. So there is no chance that a household chore would affect the staying power of my nail paints. On my nails, these stay for an average of 4-5 days.

Drying time:

It isn’t quickly drying kind of a nail paint. You will have to wait for a minute or two for the first coat to dry and for the second coat you will have to wait for two to three minutes more for sure.

So girlies, let’s begin the colourful journey:

Rocker chic:

This is my favourite amongst all the five shades. The name itself is rocking and the shade is super awesome. You can wear it for any time, any day, any occasion.

In your Dream:

It is a very typical yet beautiful pink shade and a very feminine one too. Pink is a shade which cannot be missed out in our collection. This is a perfect shade and is a must-have.

Snap it:

this is a very spring-like bright shade or can be worn on a dull wintry day to brighten your mood.

Black Magic:

I have always liked black nail paints. If black can be one the sexiest colors in terms of a dress, why can’t it be the same for nail paints. Do you all agree with me? This is a must-have for nail arts too.

Silver Sensation:

I am not much of a fan of shimmery shades in either nail paints or lip colours. But this shade has completely dazzled me with its beauty and the grace it adds to the hands.

Street Wear Color Rich Ultra Moist Rhythmic Bronze Lipstick Review

I am here again with the review of the 4th shade of the Ultra Moist range. I just love this shade after “Pink Champagne,” which was a nice pink nude-ish color. I am going out of my comfort zone just to review them. Read further to find how this shade fared on me.

Product Details:

Give your lips a smacking look courtesy this lipstick from Street wear. This rich matte lip colour gives the lips a soft and supple appearance, while keeping them nourished. It glides on smoothly and gives the lips a soft and supple appearance.

Price:

INR 180.

Packaging:

The lipstick comes in a classic black bullet body with a transparent cap, which has a toon girl sticker in it. The bullet is jutting out of the body, which makes it prone to damage. The shade name is mentioned at the bottom of the bullet.  Overall, the packaging looks good and the quality is just okay for the price.

My Take on Street Wear Color Rich Ultra Moist Rhythmic Bronze Lipstick:

Shade: Rhythmic Bronze as the name says is a pure light bronze color with very less concentrated, finely milled silver shimmer in it, but the color doesn’t have metallic sheen to it. The color has some orangey undertones to it. The color is perfect for every Indian skin tone and can be a perfect MLBB shade for dusky skin tones. The shade is perfect to wear to office and college.

Texture, Pigmentation and Finish:

Though the bullet feels hard and intact, but the lipstick has a very smooth but not overly creamy texture.  It glides effortlessly on lips without tugging. The formula is moisturizing but not extremely hydrating on lips, but it feels hydrating enough that you won’t feel the need to apply lip balm over it. The lipstick will neither bleed nor does the color settles in the fine lines of lips. It won’t overly emphasize dry and flaky lips. This shade is decently pigmented and one swipe would easily cover flaws of lips, you can layer the color in 2 swipes, but more than two swipes can make the lipstick look a bit cakey, although layering the color will make the lipstick lasts longer on lips and provides much hydration than it does.  The lipstick gives a nice creamy matte finish on lips, the color doesn’t have any metallic sheen to it, nor does the fine shimmers are noticeable on lips.

Staying Power:  

The lipstick lasted on me for 3 hours with light snacking and drinking. That’s not bad for a creamy lipstick to survive, I was glad to see that the color survives light meals, though heavy meals can take off the color from lips. The lipstick being a creamy one does transfer a bit, but not too much.

Pros of Street Wear Color Rich Ultra Moist Rhythmic Bronze Lipstick:

• A nice light bronze color, this kind of color is really unique.
• Will suit every skin tone and is very wearable for everyday.
• Texture of the lipstick is smooth and glides effortlessly on lips without dragging.
• Pigmentation for this is very good, gives decent and opaque coverage in a single swipe and goes completely opaque in two swipes.
• The color lasted on my lips with light snacking for 3 hours.
• The color doesn’t bleed; neither does it exaggerate flaky lips.
• Price is very pocket friendly.

Cons of Street Wear Color Rich Ultra Moist Rhythmic Bronze Lipstick:

• More than two swipes of the lipstick can make it a little cakey, though it is not much noticeable.
• Though the packaging looks attractive, but it’s kind of fragile.
• The jutting head of the bullet makes it prone to damage.
• The formula is not extremely hydrating, not perfect to wear in winters for those who have dry lips.

Would I Recommend Street Wear Color Rich Ultra Moist Rhythmic Bronze Lipstick?

Yes, if you don’t like deep browns, you can try your hands in this shade. It’s definitely not gonna wash out any skin tone, but if you have chronically dry lips, use a chap stick before or over it.

You all know I like pink and orange shades more, though I also like this shade as it’s very unique. It’s hard to find such a nice metallic color lipstick, but I wear such shades rarely in my life, so this one is gonna last me for very long.

I was at a beauty supply store when I spotted this Streetwear Color Rich Perfection Foundation and its packaging really caught my eye. I don’t use any foundation on day to day basis. Actually, I don’t find the need to apply concealers or foundations on my skin, yet. I prefer BB creams and tinted moisturisers, but only on special occasions. So, when I told my mom I wanted to try it, she knew it was just for the packaging (mothers!). The shade ‘Neutral’ suited my skin tone best and hence, I picked it up.

Price:

INR 170 for 30 ml.

My Experience with Streetwear Color Rich Perfection Foundation:

The Streetwear Color Rich Perfection Foundation is available in two shades: Neutral and Beige. Now, both the shades are for dark skin tones which is the best part about this foundation as not many foundations are available for darker skintones, at least in India.

There is no product description on the packaging. The glass bottle has Streetwear’s winking girl printed on it, as usual. All the details are mentioned on the plastic cover, but that needs to be ripped off and discarded in order to open the bottle. The name of the product is mentioned on the bottle, and has a white sticker plastered on it that has barcode, product name and shade name.

At the store, it blended pretty well and the tone matched my skintone perfectly. But, when I applied it and clicked photographs with the flash on, it left a whitish finish and I absolutely hate this about it. This is also the reason why I personally don’t apply any foundation.

I need to obviously apply a powder over it because I have an oily-combination skin and this is an oil based foundation. I know, I should have known this before I purchased it, but the staff at the store I went to, was too lame to help me out.

It stays on for about 3-4 hours, at the most. So, I plan on using this only when I am attending a wedding or I might just not use it at all. I am not sure about it, yet. And, it has a medium to buildable coverage, which depends on your personal liking.

For INR 170, this is a very affordable and nice foundation for girls who have just started experimenting with foundations or makeup. The lady at the store did ask me to try some high end foundations for a better shade and coverage, but I said I will come later. But, I won’t. I would much rather juts head towards MAC.

Maybe not, because my skin tends to get very oily when I am out in this sun and I don’t really know how this foundation would behave at that time. But, I would definitely recommend this to girls who have just stepped into the makeup and beauty world.

Highlighters usually are used to provide a youthful, dewy complexion and to give the face a subtle glow. I am not a big fan of makeup on a regular basis and so I don’t have a highlighter in my makeup repertoire. But once during a wedding, I saw a lady who had sparkly eyes and it wasn’t the usual eye shadow effect that I had normally seen on people. I asked her what she had used and bought one for myself the very next weekend *Shiny disco, disco. Shiny disco balls*

My Experience with Streetwear Instant Highlighter in Gold Light:

This highlighter is actually a glittery product used to provide speckles of glittery goodness to your festive look. It is definitely not the sparkles you get in packets for stationary purposes if that’s what you are worried about It is very fine and powdery and gives just the right kind of shimmer that you need when you are rocking a designer sari or elaborate lehenga. This particular product is almost a coppery gold colour. They also have a silver one.

It comes in a plastic cuboidal body with a roller ball inside – that’s very convenient imagining how easily I could scatter the powdery product everywhere while trying to apply it! The roller ball ensures that only the right amount of product falls out every time.

It has got no liquid medium and so it doesn’t impart a glossy sheen, and so is perfect for oily-skinned girls like me. This is basically just sparkly fine powder. In spite of that, it is quite easy to spread onto your skin. You could either dab some of the powder on the back of your palm and use your fingers to apply this onto your skin or you could also use a makeup brush to brush it on. Having tried both methods, I like the latter for its better and uniform spread-ability. Using fingers can lead to uneven deposit of the product on the skin. By no means should you apply the roller ball directly on to the face. It will leave you looking like you washed your face with glitter.

Though I initially bought this to use below my eyebrows, I sometimes also use it at the ends of my cheekbones for a nice shimmer.  This lasts for almost as long as I want it, sometimes to the extent that I need to rub it off really well to remove the last traces. Of course that kind of staying power is what we want when we buy makeup for celebrations!

• Stays on for a really long time.
• Roller ball ensures that the product isn’t scattered everywhere.

Cons of Streetwear Instant Highlighter in Gold Light:

• Not a subtle product for everyday highlighting.
• Spreading with fingers can cause a very messy look.
• Roller ball cannot be directly used on face.

I got these cute nail paints from Street Wear Color Rich Collection and she is totally loving the range. In fact, I also loved this range as it is very affordable and I can stack them up without feeling the guilt of spending too much.

My Experience with Streetwear Color Rich Nail Enamel Bedside Blush, Be Mine, Lady Blue Eyes, Drama Diva, Traffic Stopper:

Packaging & Consistency:
I call these nail paints cute because they have a cute girl cartoon stickers on their cap. There are a lot of shades available in this range, I guess there must be different shades to suit all of our moods. Overall, the consistency of these nail polishes are as good as other brands. The brush of these nail paints is of average quality; could have been made superior for better application.

Drying and Staying Power:
These nail enamels dry up quickly after application and therefore, save lot of time. Few shades require just one coat for the opaque finish while few require more coats. They last for 4-5 days with decent finish and thereafter, loose the lustre. Anyway, I like to let my nails breath after 4-5 days, so that’s good enough for me.

Bedside Blush

My least favourite among all is bedside blush. I have grown up seeing my mom wearing only this shade of maroon. I am not much fond of this color and the texture of this one is little flaky. Enamel might have dried up and turned flaky.

Be Mine

This is supposed to be a romantic, pink color. During day time, it kind of looks slightly neon pink. A very different shade of pink I have tried so far.

Lady Blue Eyes

This one is not exactly blue, but greenish blue, slightly like turquoise tint. It’s a very beautiful and unique shade and will most surely suit all skin tones.

Drama Diva

This one is beautiful, violet shade and gives a lot of drama to the nails. I like the name given to this. I have applied two coats here for that perfect opaque finish. In fact, this nail color looks best in matte effect. You can just steam your nails for a few seconds for instant matte finish.

Traffic Stopper

This is my most favourite among all the five. Traffic stopper is a gorgeous tomato red color and gives instant vigour to the nails. Just one coat is enough for a dazzling finish.

Like every girl, I too am guilty of hoarding lip balms, but what can I do when brands launch cute lip balms? You gotta buy it right? Today’s review will be on one such newly-launched lip balm from Street Wear. Let’s get to the review now!

Product Description:

My Experience with Street Wear Coral Kiss  Color Rich Smoothies Lip Balm:

Packaging: This lip balm comes in a cardboard packaging with the details printed at the back. The actual lip balm resembles lipsticks from the same brand. It comes in a black flimsy plastic packaging. If you look closer, you would notice that the packaging is color coded because the picture of the girl’s background is the same as the shade of the lip balm.

Color: “Coral Kiss” is an orange tinted balm, but the color hardly shows up on the lips. It is a very light tinted lip balm. The lip balm gives just a slight wash of color on the lips, but it would do nothing for pigmented lips. You could layer on this lip balm to add more color to your lips.

Texture: The texture of the lip balm is very smooth and creamy. It isn’t a thick lip balm and gives a nice sheen to the lips, but layering on repeatedly would make it bleed. The lip balm imparts a cooling sensation on the lips. This tingling sensation lasts for 5 minutes and I love it.

This lip balm provides moisture to dry lips but does nothing to hydrate your lips. This lip balm smells lightly of peppermint. In the hot summers, it is the perfect scent. It’s a refreshing scent, I love it.

Staying Power: It stays on me for 3 hours and you need to re-apply after 3 hours or so. It wouldn’t survive a meal. Your lips won’t immediately feel dry and parched. It does moisturize lips a bit, but after 1-2 hours, you would need a lip balm.

Summing up the pros and cons:

• Imparts a cooling sensation to the lips.

• Staying power is low.
• Doesn’t hydrate the lips.
• Layering up leads to bleeding and feathering.

I wouldn’t repurchase this one because I already have more than one of these lip balms.  These are just average lip balms, not worth a repurchase.

I have reviewed a lot of shades from Streetwear’s Stay On lip color range, you can read them all here. Today, I have a neutral, slightly frosted shade which many would find difficult to wear since it could be a very dull shade for warm skin tones.

My Experience with Street Wear Cocoa Diva Stay On Lip Color:

I find the lipstick to be a very dull shade. The lipstick does not have shimmer but it has this irritating pearl/frost kind of finish. When I was buying it, I thought it will be a “Cocoa N*de,” but it turned out to be very dull for my skin tone. The color may be a light MLBB shade for very fair skin tones.

The packaging is very similar to Revlon’s old Ultimate Suede lipstick. The bullet jutting out and extending out is so annoying, whenever you close the cap, you are bound to nick the lipstick bullet. Well, it would also mean that they are easier to locate as well.

The texture is creamy and still it is not cakey. You will be surprised to know that the lips dries and sets to a transfer-resistant texture. So yes, it is a “stay on” texture and will last you pretty long, longer than your average lipstick. I could use this lipstick like a priming base for other darker lipsticks and also mix and match to make dark shades lighter.

Overall, this shade is not worth a buy but the other “stay on” shades are nice with their transfer-resistant factor.

Pros of Street Wear Cocoa Diva Stay On Lip Color:

• Neutral shade for very fair skin tones.
• Sets and does not smudge.
• Lasts longer definitely.
• Lots of shades to choose from this range.

Cons of Street Wear Cocoa Diva Stay On Lip Color:

• Very dull shade for warm skin tones.
• Pearly and frosty finish, it’s annoying.
• Bullet is extending over the case, me not likey!

Would I Recommend/Repurchase Street Wear Cocoa Diva Stay On Lip Color?
No; not this shade, you can try many from this range though.

So letting my reviewer streak get the better of me, I purchased this to tell you more about the product. Read on to know about Streetwear Color Rich Liquid Eyeliner Coal.

My Experience with Streetwear Coal Color Rich Liquid Eyeliner:

Packaging:  The eyeliner comes in a cute glass bottle, which is similar to their nail paints and has a black cap with girl graphics on it. The shade name and number is given at the top of the cap. It has a very thin applicator brush which help in precise application.

True to its name, Coal is a jet charcoal-black color. The color is bold and beautiful and gives a dramatic look to my eyes. The texture is slightly runny, in fact, it’s runnier than any other liquid liner I have used.

The shade is highly pigmented and goes opaque in just a single stroke. So, there is no need to go over an area twice unless you want to thicken the line. The brush is really thin, so you can draw precise lines as close as you want near your waterline. It sets to a matte finish and doesn’t have shimmers or sheen.

The staying power is low. It stays for 3-3.5 hours on my oily eyelids and I could improve the staying power my applying an eye makeup primer. The formula is neither water resistant nor smudgeproof, neither does it claim to be. So, you can remove it with a generous splash of water, but beware of rubbing your eyes. It doesn’t irritate my sensitive eyes.

It’s a super economic option for college girls, but if you want a long-staying, smudge-proof formula, then steer clear. If I am going somewhere for a very short time and don’t want to come home and spend time removing it, I definitely choose this. Hence I might repurchase the Egyptian Blue version as well.

At a time when most brands are placing exorbitant price tags on cosmetics, this product has a super economic price. Getting a couple of these will definitely not hurt your pocket, especially if you are a teenager.
